You know things are bad when the higher-ups pull the "there's more to life than basketball" card. What a joke. From the article: LAS VEGAS -- Sometimes there are more pressing needs than the ol' red, white and blue. There are real-life issues that need to be addressed, which is the reason Pistons point guard Chauncey Billups and Bucks shooting guard Michael Redd have bowed out from or soon will leave Team USA's training camp at Cox Pavilion. That's all fine and good, but while our players drop like flies and attend to "personal matters", teams across the globe are eating, breathing, sweating, and living through basketball, even with the Olympics 2 years away.
