Draft Day trade with Skins looking good.

Jets trade could come out in Wash Now that the Redskins are 3-6 and starting Campbell, they could be on the way to a 5-11 season. That would be good news for the Jets, who own the Redskins' second-round pick in the 2007 draft. During the 2006 draft, the Jets traded their second-round pick (No. 35 overall) to Washington for a package that included the Redskins second-round pick (No. 53) and next year's second-round pick.

The Jets then moved up four spots in a trade with Dallas to take Kellen Clemens, who was the first QB taken after the big three of Young, Leinart and Cutler went in the top 11. Clemens possibly could have been the Jets' pick if they stayed at No. 35. In effect, they got Washington's second-round pick for free. That could turn out to be a good player . . .

In his last two games, Tom Brady has thrown one TD and five INTs and been sacked four times in losses to the Colts and Jets . . .

The Colts are the first team to start 9-0 in back-to-back seasons. But 16-0 would be tainted if they do it without then winning the Super Bowl. They started 13-0 last year but didn't even win a playoff game . . .

The Bears, back at Giants Stadium today, are in the middle game of a three-game road trip. They play at New England next week. It's difficult to win three in a row on the road. If there is one team in this streak they are going to overlook, it's the Jets.

It could be a good chance to get Abiamiri in first round and Carriker as Redskins' 2nd round pick..:yahoo:
