Lil Bit Special Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Well, today was my first spring training game of 2008. And what a clunker. Ryan Church and Marlon Anderson run into each other and Church ends up with a concussion. Mets win game 1-0 on HBP to end game. Niese pitched well, but still needs a little time in the minors. Could be a good 4th or 5th starter next year and in the future. May get a chance if we have injuries this year. Angel Pagan had 2 of the Mets hits and seemed to be the only player playing with a spark. Wright made a great bare-handed throw to first on a Pierre bunt. Wise looked good in his inning of work.
