124 Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 CARDINALS WEEK-LONG STAY IN VIRGINIA RAISES QUESTIONS Posted by Mike Florio on September 24, 2008, 8:55 a.m. A league source tells us that some are questioning the wisdom of the decision of the Arizona Cardinals to spend the week in Virginia between road games against the Redskins and the Jets. The team is staying at the Marriott in Tysons Corner, and the players are spending their free time hanging out in the lobby of the hotel and at the nearby mall. In a sport that, unlike baseball, has only ten total road trips per season, most of which involve only a night away from home, the question is whether it makes sense to have these guys miss out on five night of sleeping in their own beds and spending time with their families.
