flgreen
Hines Ward cuffed at gunpoint in stolen-car misunderstanding Posted by Mike Florio on May 5, 2011, 9:40 AM EDT Hines ward, Kym Johnson AP Steelers receiver Hines Ward, who has spent the offseason as one of the contestants on Dancing with the Stars, had to do a different type of tapdancing early Thursday. According to TMZ, Ward, who was the passenger in a car driven by an unnamed female, was handcuffed at gunpoint after police checked the license plates and realized the vehicle had been reported as stolen. As it turns out, the driver had previously reported the car as stolen after an incident with a valet. She didn’t let police know she’d gotten the vehicle back. Per the report, the police verified the story and allowed them to leave from the scene of the stop.

Maxman
The Steelers can't have this kind of bad PR. They might have to waive Hines Ward as well.
sirlancemehlot
The police are so corrupt. Surprised they didn't beat Hines half to death (because he's only half black). And why did they check the license plate in the first place?...because they've been trained to be minions of The Man and hold down the public who have every right--given by God--not the police--to drive around in cars reported stolen but not reported un-stolen. There was no reason to report the car un-stolen...why she would have to "check-in" with Big Brother just let them know they no longer have a reason to stop our vehcilces? They don't have the right in the first place because I did not give them that right. They are employed to serve the public, not victim ize the public. Thay are all evil robots out to get us. Thank you for listening. There. That aught to do it.
