BaumerJet Posted July 11, 2011 Share Posted July 11, 2011 Just isnt something that would seem as enjoyable in upper NJ. Matt, you can't really say that about the Florham Park/Madison/Chatham area. These are "College Town" communities made up from 3 major Ivy universities. Heck, when Parcells was the HC of the Giants, he made Fairleigh Dickenson University their training camp for the entire time he was with the Giants. The area alone is well accommodating for a team attempting to practice in a college like settlement. With over 5 new hotels in the immediate area, Florham Park was the perfect location for a training facility, as well as a place to hold camp. Besides, where else can you ride to Madison by NJ transit daily with your HC? Would Tom Coughlin take the train to the TIMEX/GIANTS facility? I do not think so...
