Canfield has already had cups of coffee with the Cardinals, Seahawks and Lions since being drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. The Jets also added free agent T/G Pete Clifford. The former Kilgore High School and University of Texas defensive end will start camp as an outside linebacker for coach Rex Ryan's Jets, Jones said. He said he had been in meetings all day Sunday, and then was going to begin studying material Sunday night, then practice today. Jones was one of three former Kilgore players eligible to begin NFL careers this year.
