The New York Jets have signed offensive lineman Matt Kroul and running back John Griffin to reserve/future contracts. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Kroul (6'3", 300) spent the majority of the 2011 season on the Jets practice squad. After the 2010 season, the former defensive tackle was signed to a reserve/future contract on Jan. 26, 2011. He spent the first 15 weeks of the 2010 season on the active roster, seeing action in six games and recording two tackles.

Kroul originally joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent May 1, 2009, and spent the regular season as a member of the practice squad.

Griffin (5'10", 208) was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals July 28, 2011, and waived following the preseason on Sept. 3. He posted 843 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 168 carries during his senior year at Massachusetts. Griffin spent his first three collegiate seasons at Northeastern before the school eliminated its football program following his junior season. As a junior, he ran for a conference-best 1,009 yards on 207 carries with five touchdowns, earning All-CAA first-team honors.

this leaves DB Mark Legree as our only unsigned practice squad player left
