JetNation Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 The New York Jets have signed WR Royce Adams and P Travis Baltz to reserve/future contracts. The announcements were made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum. Adams (WR/6-0/190/Purdue/Cleveland, OH) played the 2011 season with the AFL’s Pittsburgh Power. He converted from cornerback to wide receiver prior to his senior season at Purdue in 2009. Adams played in 46 games for the Boilermakers, also spending time at both kick and punt returner. Baltz (P/6-3/210/Maryland/ Whitehouse, OH) was waived by the Indianapolis Colts (09/04/11) after being signed by the team as an undrafted free agent (07/29/11).
