SenorGato
What if Dan Carpenter had hit the GW FG? What if the opponent was better? What if..what if...what if David Icke was right and Reptillians are real? What if Bane had chosen Miami to be Gotham? These are the kinds of questions the Jets will be asking them tomorrow as they pick up the pieces from only winning this game by an OT FG against the lowly Dolphins. If they plan to win the SB this year - they need to do better than just squeak out victories. Victories, as we all know, have long been judged by how pretty and complete they are. Next week's opponent is the vaunted 49ers, quite possibly the greatest franchise in the history of the sport and currently the absolute pinnacle of competition in this league. The Jets can not do what they did this week against them. It won't work. They need a new gameplan.

SenorGato
Also, as usual, anyone who wants to help in the efforts to rebuild our spirts....anything is welcome. One thing I have to ask for is the list of teams who started 2-1 but only won the second game (against a bad, at least 1-1 maybe 0-2, team) by a FG and still managed to make the playoffs. The information, science, could be of great importance.
bitonti
how they play one week will not dictate how they play the next week. See week 1 to week 2 for an example of this behavior.

Says you. They simply cannot repeat this against the might, the power that is the 49ers. Alex Smith will tear this defense up.
