Over the coming days and weeks, the Jets will ramp up their draft preparation and begin bringing in prospects for official visits. This is a great time to prod further into medical questions, ask some follow-ups from the combine, or simply do their due diligence.

 

Like my colleague Jenny Vrentas noted, some teams announce their pre-draft visits. The Jets, like the Giants, are not one of them. So in the coming days we'll add what we find out from people with knowledge of the situation and from other reports and update here.

 

Top 30 visits

 

These are official Pre-Draft workouts. Each team is allotted 30 official non-local visits.

 

Logan Ryan, DB, Rutgers*
Will Campbell, DT, Michigan (As we noted last week, the Jets also went to Michigan for an on-campus workout)
Dion Jordan, OLB, Oregon
Le'Veon Bell, RB, Michigan State, Per ESPN NY
Margus Hunt, DE, SMU (Rex Ryan worked him out as an outside linebacker at his pro day, much in the way he did Quinton Coples last year).
Zac Dysert, QB, Miami (OH) (As the great Gil Brandt noted, the Jets were present, and intrigued, at his Pro Day).

 

Local Prospects

The Jets will have a local prospect workout day coming up soon where they can workout some players form around the area. Here are some of the names we know so far.
