It would be a major upset if the Jets could somehow cause Harbaugh to change course right now, as it has been widely reported that Harbaugh is going or likely going to coach the Wolverines. ESPN reported Monday that the university has told some of its boosters that the deal for the coach is done and that a press conference is set for Tuesday. The Jets are among a handful of teams believed to have reached out to the 51-year-old coach. Woody Johnson Monday said that the team would ideally like to hire a general manager and then a head coach, but added that that would not necessarily be the case.
