LionelRichie
Bevell is not even mentioned as a bottom tier candidate. He won't be a head coach, ever. Quinn is twice the coordinator and has done better than Bradley. Quinn is also widely regarded as the number one head coaching candidate. That is what I'm asking - why is he widely regarded as the #1 candidate? What does he bring to the table without Schneider, Carroll, rhe most talented defense in the league, and a top 10 QB? What does he bring to the table without Schneider, Carroll, rhe most talented defense in the league, and a top 10 QB? Quinn seems to be a well thought out coach who emphasizes putting his players in the best position to succeed. He has played a large role in the development of the 4th, 5th, 6th round gems that the Seahawks have been lucky enough to grab in the draft and then has molded his defenses to fit their strengths. In comparison to Rex, he runs a tighter ship, which is something that Jets fans want. He is even tempered, flexible, and intelligent. Does he have an incredible grasp on offense? Who knows... but if we brought in Adam Gase from Denver the same question would be asked of him with regards to defense. The guy wasn't even on the team when most of the legion of boom was drafted.
