Ex-Rex Posted November 6, 2016 Share Posted November 6, 2016 The Jets are as poorly coached a football team as I have ever seen. 10 penalties for 77 yards and at least three were plays that show a lack of discipline. Pryor turns a good play into a negative with showboating penalty. Undisciplined. Sheldon Richardson gets on after a solid play as well. Undisciplined. Plus, Bowles is totally clueless as to the offensive play calling. The way the Jets organization is structured leaves me wondering who CAN turn this around? Can Maccagnan fire Bowles? Or is it only the clueless Wood man? I am left with a very empty feeling today that anything that can go wrong with this dysfunctional team WILL. And into the forseeable future. We have a bunch of players not executing who happened to have unproven players sitting behind them . Coaches don't teach penalties, or stupidity . Humans make all kinds of mistakes and always look for someone else to blame. 2 defensive starters were benched for the 1st quarter of a division game on the road and the coach Has lost the team . The starting QB is benched for his backup after poor play, but because it wasn't when we said it should be done, the coach has lost the team . When Calvin Pryor misses an open field tackle on special teams as he did twice today that is on Bowles because he should have seen it and told his ST coach to sit him down. The Jets players are allowed to make the same mistakes over and over and are never threatened with job security or benched. Your argument falls on blind eyes. This coaching staff is not only one of the worst but they - especially Bowles are gutless. Fitzpatrick has done everything in his power to be removed as QB yet Bowles continues to say he is the best we have. Tinstar Posted November 6, 2016 Share Posted November 6, 2016 The mistake was resigning Fitz. Once that was done, playing him until the Jets were out of contention was a fore gone conclusion . Geno got a shot an his unfortunate injury made Fitz the Best we have until after the next game . Win or Loose, I would bench him after that game. The bye week gives the Jets a chance to prepare the team with Petty to finish the year. This year should have been about finding out about Geno, Petty and Hackenberg .
