Smizzy Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 NFL | League considering Monday night doubleheader Sat, 11 Feb 2006 09:15:11 -0800 Sam Farmer, of the Los Angeles Times, reports the NFL and ESPN are considering opening the Monday night schedule with a doubleheader. The two are giving "serious consideration" to having a game at 6 pm ET and 9 pm ET. The only other doubleheader came during Week 2 of the 2005 season so the New Orleans Saints could play their "home" opener against the New York Giants. The more football the better.
