Contenders for the Jets title aspirations

This is the champions of suckage title. Below, listed are the teams that have 0 (Jets!!!), 1 (Redskins, Giants, Falcons, Jaguars, Vikings, Texans, Chargers, Eagles, Bengals), 2(Lions, Patriots, Broncos) wins thus far in the season.

The games highlighted for each team are when title contenders face off against each other. These are good games for the Jets, because, hey, someone has to win.

Under any circumstance, The best (worst) that I can see the Jets doing in a miracle situation is 3 wins. This means that the 3 win teams currently only need to win one one more game this season and they are eliminated for the title. Thus I eliminated them (there are 5 of them, and the only possible contender would be the Dolphins, but nah). 

There are currently 6 two win teams (Lions Patriots and Broncos- I will count the Eagles and Bengals in that group, as a win as good as a tie). The Broncos have the best shot as they play only 3 title deciding games. Patriots, Bengals have 4, Lions, Eagles 5, Cowboys 7.

There are currently (7) 1 win teams. These are the real contenders for the Jets title. Any of them probably win a tiebreaker scenario with the Jets. In that grouping the contending teams for continued suckiness are the Falcons and Jaguars with only 3 title games. The Vikings and Texans have 4, the Giants have 5, the Redskins and Chargers have 6.

Then we have our Jets that have (0) wins, and only 3 title games, and 2 of those are with the Patriots.

Jaguars-Chargers is a big playoff game this weekend.
