JetNation Posted March 11 Share Posted March 11 NFL insider Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Jets are retaining kicker Greg Zuerlein who was due to hit free agency in just a few hours. Zuerlein originally signed with the Jets back in March of 2022. The #Jets and K Greg Zuerlein have reached an agreement on a 2-year deal for $8.4M, per me and @TomPelissero. A nice pay raise for the kicker. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 11, 2024 After turning in one of the best seasons Gang Green has ever had from a kicker, Zuerlein is rewarded with a 2-year $8.4 million contract. The kicker connected on 35 of 38 field goal attempts, including 5-6 from 50 yards or more. Zuerlein was also 15 out of 16 on extra points.
