Its one of those moments we'll remember when looking back at his career. Like his Playoff Game against Indy, and the magical season when he took over from Vinny and yes, the injuries and failures as well. It will also affect how we all think of him going into 2007. Win and you are the QB for 2007....no questions asked. Lose and its a QB competition all over again. Mr Pennington - step up to the plate. Define your career. We need a complete team effort to get to the playoffs. We need everybody to step up today and handel their business. Pennington will play a role....but IMHO should not be counted on to "carry" us. docdhc Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Unfortunately for Chad, beating a terrible Oakland team isn't really a feather in his cap, its pretty much expected. This game will only define Pennington if he loses, and in a very negative way. If the Jets win today, and they better, the defining game will come next week on the road against a quality opponent, with everything on the line.
