Smizzy
Cardinals | Willing to Trade Starks Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports the Arizona Cardinals are willing to deal CB Duane Starks for the right price this offseason, according to comments made by head coach Dennis Green. "I wouldn't tell (the media) if we were. But as we've said, (tackle) L.J. (Shelton) is not the only guy that we would consider trading," Green said. By trading Starks, the Cardinals would incur a salary-cap charge of $2 million this year to account for the remaining portion of Starks' $5 million signing bonus over the final two years of his deal. 124
The only problem with this is for "the right price." The Cardinals will probably be looking for a 2nd round and a 2nd day pick if not a 1st round pick for this guy. However, it would be pretty interesting to see 2 former Cardinal CB's playing together here in New York.
TomShane
STarks is a solid player who looked great when he was playing behind that Ravens front seven. He has been injured and exposed in Arizona.
124
That being said TS, do you see the Jets possibly offering a trade proposal to Arizona for him?
