124 Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 CARDS PLACE AL JOHNSON ON IR Posted by Mike Florio on September 6, 2008, 4:21 p.m. The Arizona Cardinals have announced that center Al Johnson, who started and played in 14 games last year, will start and play in none this time around. Johnson has been placed on IR with a left knee injury suffered early in training camp. The team also elevated center Pat Ross from the practice squad, and cut safety Oliver Celestin.
