Drive 1

Good solid opening drive, we get down to the NE 13 yard line. An incomplete pass, a scramble, and a miss field goal.

Drive 2

Dropped ball by Coles that would have kept the drive alive. Punt

Drive 3

Another good drive. We take it all the way down to the NE 3 yard line but fail to punch it in. Field Goal

Drive 4

Worst drive of the game. Two plays go for negative yardage. 3-18. Punt.

Drive 5

We get a huge first down on 3-22. Try another long pass that is caught by Cotch but is brought back for offensive PI. Intercepted on 2-25.

Drive 6

Another bad drive. And another dropped ball by Coles I believe. Punt

Drive 7

Best drive of the day. Touchdown Jets.

Drive 8

Sacked for a loss of 20. 3-23. Nothing to do. Punt.

-----------------

We moved the ball well 3/8 drives.

Passes that would have gotten first downs were dropped on 2 of the 5 "bad" drives.

We faced 3rd and 20+ on 3 of the 5 "bad" drives.

We attempted 10 passes of 20 or more yards.

Our best starting position all day was our own 25 yard line.

We completed 50% of our third downs (NE completed 42%)

Our longest passing play was 54 yards, our longest run was 17 yards.

We passed on 7 times on first down. We ran it 9 times on first down.

I wasn't too dissapointed with Coles. Yes he had two drops, but a lot of WR's drop passes. Look at Braylon Edwards in Cleveland, drops loads of passes but makes up for it. Coles made up for drops by making plays, he was our leading WR and without question outplayed Cotch, who could not get open at all throughout the game.
