SouthernJet Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Dont go to this flick expecting a fun-filled romantic comedy,,it aint that. Here we have a recently released rehab patient, Anne Hathaway, who returns to her home and family to attend her sisters wedding. What this brings is all the demons of the past, both known and unknown. We see that even though she is the 'bad' one, we also realize all the 'help' or lack thereof she had on her journey. This is for all those who are into the psych-driven morality plays as we see much of the pain in this movie is from the non offenders point of view. Debra Winger plays a small but powerful role in this and Bill Irwin plays the mousy Dad to perfection.
