How soon we forget... how many years in a row did we miss the playoffs before the 2,000's? This is a competitive team, although not as competitive as we would like. But to say we are doomed to fall back to the celler is just idiotic.

Put Mark in a new offense, change things up a bit, retool the defense slightly and the Jets will be back. :)

The Dolphins haven't had a winning season recently.

He won't hire Herm. They are looking for a "young Shula" and will likely make a good hire. There's a lot of talent on that team, and they fight hard. Harder than the Jets do in a lot of ways. They could hop right over us for 2nd best in the AFC East with the addition of a QB, no question. Hell, Matt Moore was better than Sanchez down the stretch. They might not even need a QB that bad.

This actually is reason for concern... considering the Jets seem to embrace steady decline like a long-lost relative.

Nah they still need a QB...Their talent, athleticism, and size on D can match and best anyone in the division...and most of the guys are still young too. The offense has significant pieces that allowed it to play well with Matt Moore, a top notch backup and fringe starter...Marshall at WR...an underrated OL...Fasano at TE....Bush at RB....Someone's been saying that New Coach can make that a 10 win team easy, and they would be correct.

That offense with RG3 btw...if he lives up to the hype/POTENTIAL....

A particular radio guy in Miami is saying Fischer is more likely to go to St Louis being the franchise is possibly relocating to LA.

Fischer is the best available option, but either way I can't help but think the owner Ross will find a way to F things up...he is more concerned about nightclubs in the stadium and wanting to build casinos around it....he's a complete dipsh*t.
