There is not a lot being reported, except that the Jaguars will make a decision fast and the interview took place in NY.</p> <blockquote><p><a href="http://jacksonville.com/sports/football/jaguars/2012-01-06/story/jaguars-interview-brian-schottenheimer-rob-chudzinski" target="_blank">From Jacksonville.com</a></p> <p>The Jaguars interviewed New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer for their head coaching position on Friday, a day after general manager Gene Smith reportedly flew to Charlotte, N.C., to interview Carolina offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski.</p> <p>It’s unclear where Schottenheimer’s interview took place, but Jaguars owner Shahid Khan was in the New York area on Friday. Schottenheimer was also a candidate to be Florida’s offensive coordinator but withdrew his name from consideration because he would prefer to coach in the NFL.</p> <p>Schottenheimer has spent the past six seasons with the Jets, but he has come under fire along with quarterback Mark Sanchez after the Jets finished 8-8 and failed to make the playoffs this season.</p></blockquote> <p>Jaguars fans don’t seem to like the candidate list, especially the thought of hiring Schotty.
