Davis is a quality receiver at the position. He posted 59 catches for 796 yards in 2011 with a Rex Grossman and John Beck quarterback combo. He would be a nice addition to replace Dustin Keller if healthy and a good fit for the offense. As you probably guessed, Davis could be cheap since the Jets are looking into him. What is the catch? He is coming off a torn Achilles tendon, a very serious injury that can rob players of explosion. If the Jets get serious here, the medical staff will have to explore this one fully.
