Dustin Keller: Expect Good Things From Sanchez This Year

When we find out about Geno we'll know if he's another Kellen Clemens... Lets watch and see what happens.

If he's not ready to start they shouldn't start him. And that will be determined by how they play. It's already being determined and people are reporting Mark is better than Geno right now. If you don't like the news that's fine but it is what it is.

Look at the schedule Week 2 is Thursday night on the road against New England. It's entirely possible the Jets could ruin Geno and have to turn back to Sanchez. after the bye is Cleveland and a much easier slate. 6 games is enough to evaluate a player. We found out McElroy sucked in 2.

And by the way just handing someone the QB job when they haven't earned it, isn't that the Mark Sanchez story?

If he's a guy who can be ruined by a bad game the Jets need to know that. BTW giving Sanchez the job in year 1 wasn't the problem. Sticking with him AFTER he played miserably year after year was the problem.

Aaron Rodgers sat for 3 seasons behind Brett Favre. What would have happened if they started him week 1 and he stunk? It is possible that geno could have a great career, and also not be ready for week 1 2013.

If Aaron Rodgers had started his first season he would've showed at least signs that he was going to be a good QB that Sanchez never did.
