4thQtr of the season, a HC Finalist comparison fro fun's sake

Considering how we were down to either Dan Quinn and Bowles as our two HC finalists and both teams started off pretty hot, I decided to make a comparison to see how their respective teams improved in certain categories since they arrived and both have now had 3/4 of a season to implement their tone, philosophy, and culture on the teams.  I primarily focused on the Defensive #s because that was each coach's "strength & specialty" when hired, and thus, should be their forté and the more outstanding  "trait" or improvement of their team.

2014 Key Defensive Rankings- under Mike Smith & Rex Ryan, respectively.

Pts.Allowed/GameATL 27th - 26.1,  Jets 24th - 25.1

T/O DIFF : ATL 11th~  +5, Jets 29th~   -11

YDSAllowed/Game: ATL 32nd- 398.3, Jets 6th - 327.2

Total Points Allowed: ATL 27th - 417 Pnts,  Jets 24th - 401 Pnts

Offensive Points/GameATL 12th - 23.8,  Jets 28th - 17.7

Both first time HCs started off strongly: The Jets going 4-1 to begin the season until their engines began to stall and Quinn hawking the Falcons to new heights at 6-1 thru week 7. As the Jets began to sputter, critics, whiners, revisionists, MMQBs, and mostly JN curmudgeons began to question, some still do, the Bowles hiring and clamoring that Quinn was clearly the superior HC and SHOULDA been the hire. Yet ANOTHER franchise mistake in selecting the wrong man.

NOW both teams are identical in record at 6-5, 2nd place divisional ranking, and in the WC hunt but with ATL clipped by a 4 game losing streak and mired in a mucky 5 Losses out of the last 6 games. Meanwhile TBowles has felt and deflected heat with only 2 wins in his last 6 contests.

Here is where each coach and his team ranks so far in 2015 in the same categories, what do you guys think? Bowles STILL the right hire? Buyer's remorse and shoulda been Quinn? I'm open to criticism or other STATS that could be more effective in proving the superior coach for discussion sake.
