TuscanyTile2
It seems strange that a guy in his 3rd year (IIRC) who is really good potentially won't get us that much in a trade. #1 draft picks are almost like automobiles. They depreciate 30% right after they're drafted (except for very few players like star QBs). How many 1st round picks are total busts? A good # of them. Yet we've got a star young DL in Richardson that we could offer in a trade but probably won't get great value back. Is it all about the salary cap? Basically that teams want to get years of a really good player on an undervalued contract (rookie contract). I guess that would have to be the case but wondering if I'm missing something else. jamesr
Drugs, dangerous driving, resisting arrest ... dumb stuff like that is what will put people off. Possible suspension for his last screw up, and if he tests positive again that'll be 8 games.
