Rangers9 Posted October 9, 2016 Share Posted October 9, 2016 Based on what I've read the players don't want Kap. And didn't want him last season. At that time they preferred Gabbert. Now reportedly they want Christian Ponder who like Gabbert is a failed former high draft pick. But the problem with the team is his contract. Similar to RG3 last year with Wash. If they play him and he gets injured they are responsible for the rest of his contract. So the team is trying to get him to renegotiate that out of his deal. And if he agrees they might play him.
