i agree that it's time to start seeing what petty or even hack can bring but there is just too much vitriol for fitz.  yes he has some limitations, but even so, this team should be 5-5 or even 6-4 at this point.  fitz didn't miss the fg against cincy.  fitz didn't permit the doltfins from running the ko back for a td, and fitz didn't start against the rams.  half of this game is getting players on the field who want to play and you do that by having real leadership at key positions like qb.  like it or not, the players play harder for fitz than they did for petty.  and even if you want to make the excuse that gailey kept the reigns on petty, he also made some pretty questionable calls when fitz was at qb too.  it all evens out.
