shutout Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Good read...only thing I would disagree with is I don't think that it was so much a mistake to let Ferguson go as it was to replace him with the garbage that was the Reed/Legree/Pouha trio. Ferguson has been known to step it up in his contract years,so I don't think we would have been much better with him resigned. I like the idea of picking up Gradowski/Pinegar/Olsen in the later rounds as an upgrade over Bollinger and hopefully Schottenheimer could mold one of them into a solid #2. As I've been saying for the past few days,I want us to grab D'Brick or even Lendale and wait until next year to take Quinn. Abraham is as good as gone,and I'd love to get a mid-late 1st for him and then use that pick on Bobby Carpenter and use him as the 3-4 Rush LB,or even Jean-Gilles.
