mbn007 Posted March 20, 2006 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Agreed. I can understand why so many Jets fans want Ferguson. They saw the O-line play last year and it was horrific. The first reaction is to go after whoever is the most highly touted Lineman in the draft. However, this draft is very deep at Ferguson's position of OT and all Offensive Line positions for that matter. We should be able to get at least 2-3 good Offensive Linemen in Rounds 2-5. True enough. But if we take D 'Brick, and a solid O.Lineman in say round 3, we have rebuilt the line on day 1 of the draft. Especially if this kid from the 49ers roster (Norm K.)is the real deal at Center. Add in Jones and Kendell, and we are set. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
