You gotta wonder what The Jets offered Chatman. I bet you it wasn't alot and Cincy has an opening now with Kevin Walter heading to The Texans. They also have issues with their other WR's like Chris Henry, who is a bit of a headcase.

Cincy presented Chatman with a chance to play more. With The Jets, Chatman is a #4 WR at best.

Probably a year or two worth $500,000 a year.

Cincy probably got him on a 2 year - $1.5 - 2 mill deal with the chance to be the #3 there because of Henry's legal issues...plus they're a playoff contender, we for a little while will not be.
