JKlecko
They may not extend Carter. The problem is that they're tight against the cap next year, have 20-some FAs, including 3 of their safeties, and only have a 1st, a 3rd, two 4ths and a 6th round draft pick. They need to extend Huff and Becton. They are not going to be able to afford to do much of anything in FA. Their first priority is going to have to be to fix the OL. They need to add an OT, an OG, and another OG for depth. Priority #2 is adding a #2 WR, and they may not be able to do that until 2025. The last thing they're going to need to worry about is adding another RB. If they don't want to extend Carter, they can let him walk in FA and possibly get a comp pick. I don't think they'd get much in a trade, if anyone even has interest in trading for him.
