Never mind the cap -- he needs to be off the field at any price. 

He would be an acceptable depth piece, though, should a more deserving starter get injured. I'll put him up against a rookie Sherwood, just learning the position at 216 lbs, any day. I say this just so people know I'm being rational about it.

Oh wait, we do!  Last year, Mosley allowed 74 % of passes to be completed on him, 7.8 yards per target, and when targeted QBs threw for a 94.9 QB Rating.

All of these are bad.

If Zach Wilson could throw every dropback to a receiver "covered" by CJ Mosley, he'd be a legitimate starting NFL QB.
