faba
Marbury insists he wants to stay in New York ESPN.com news services Nothing has changed in the volatile relationship between Stephon Marbury and coach Larry Brown, but the vocal guard continues to profess his determination to stay with the New York Knicks. Marbury Despite the contentious relationship that played out in the press this year and a miserable record, Marbury told the New York Post that he wants to "die a Knick." Not one to shy away from grand statements, Marbury bordered on hyperbole in his love for his hometown team. "If I ever was to be cremated, I'd want my ashes sprinkled on top of the Garden," Marbury told the paper. "Playing here has always been my dream. I want to be in New York more than any place." Despite the team's dismal 23-59 performance, Marbury thinks the players on the roster can improve. "I hope that every player on this team comes back next season," Marbury told the Post. "I honestly mean that. Every player. I think we have a great team. I think it will be so much different next year." Reports surfaced this month that owner James Dolan may buy out Brown's contract, but the coach helped work out draft prospects last week. The Knicks own two late first-round picks in the June draft. 124
I loved Marbury at first. Now I don't. If he's not going to be a team player and he's not going to help the rest of the guys improve their games and do what's best for the team then we need to get him out of here. As far as I'm concerned we need to find a way to drop both Francis and Marbury. I love Marbury but if he doesn't get his **** together he needs to go. Even Allen Iverson learned to pass the ball. PeterNorth09
Give him a maxed out contract extension. LOL Knicks need to get rid of Marbury and fast. Forget trading him, just cut his ass. Dolan has the money to waste on scrubs like Malik Rose and Luc Longley he can waste money on not paying this loser. Knicks starting lineup next year should be: PG: Nate Robinson SG: Steve Francis or Jamal Crawford SF: Qyntel Woods PF: David Lee C: Channing Frye Do an 8 man rotation with Jalen Rose, Eddy Curry and maybe Jackie Butler coming off the bench. HERE IS THE KEY LARRY: Stick with that rotation.

I think the key is that the Knicks do have talent but Larry Brown needs to stick with ****ing rotation. If I see Malik Rose or Mo Taylor start next year I will vomit and become a Nets fan. We gotta get rid of Marbury and let Nate start. The team looks so much more energetic and explosive when Nate is running the point. Just waive that loser.
