I was just enjoying a delightful autumn day in my garden watching

the birds and pondering the merits of a nationwide squirrel cull as the

glorious sunshine swept a glowing orange across my sight when it ocurred

to me that right now life is feeling pretty good as a Jets fan.

As we stand surprised at 5-5 facing perhaps the easiest stretch we could want, the

playoffs were more than I could have asked for in the summer, and of the

teams that have got the better of these new Jets, who`s to say they won`t

be the 3 teams we play as we plot a rematch of the other team to better us

this season, we have the belief to beat the Pats, would love a shot to erase

that 40pt drubbing and the Colts would be more scared of us than we of them.

And if not this year there is surely and even better chance next, they have me

believing and that makes my forthcoming roast dinner and sundays in general

even more enjoyable.

Its moments like that that make all the suffering worth it and make

me pleased I have such a lovely garden, although it still has too many

squrrels.
