Being a fan is as much about the connection to the team, as it is about the shared fellowship in the successes and failures of the team. Writer Drack explores just that in this post, enjoy. 124 Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 For me it sucks because I really do not have any other diehard Jet fan to watch the game with on gamedays. My Dad follows but is not as big as a fan as he used to be, sometimes misses games, and rarely gets majorly excited over plays. My best friends are Giants fans, and even though they come and root for the Jets, it still isn't the same. My cousin is the closet I get to in my family as a diehard Jets fan but if I see him once every other month its a lot, since he is a 2 hour drive away.
