When I was sent down to Miami after Hurricane Andrew, we set up a mobile kitchen in a migrant labor workers camp. We got news that she was coming to help feed the people that lived there, I was pretty excited to meet her. She shows up with her publicist, a security guard, and a photographer. She proceeded to pick up a ladle, have her picture taken, and then leave. Not one word was said. As Henrik Ibsen might say, that iguana was shot.
