For the first time Tuesday, baseball general managers recommended instant replay be used to help umpires make difficult decisions.

It still needs to go through a couple more layers of bureaucracy before they make it official.

If they institute this change, after all of the offenses to the hundred-plus years of baseball history that Selig already committed, I will lose all interest in the sport.
