Kenyatta Jones, 29, was arrested Monday morning at about 2:15 at the Blue Martini at International Plaza. Police say Jones was standing on the dance floor of the Blue Martini when he attempted to urinate on floor. He was stopped by club security and was told to leave the club by uniformed police officers working extra-duty at the venue. While escorting himout of the club, police say Jones stopped and turned to go back inside the club. An officer grabbed the his arm in an attempt to escort him out of the club. They say Jones then forcibly shoved the officer against a door inside the club. Another officer used his taser on Jones and then arrested him. No injuries were reported. Jones is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, obstructing or opposing an officer with violence and trespassing on propery. Kenyatta Jones spent three seasons in the NFL playing for the Washington Redskins and the New England Patriots.
