JetNation
Johan Santana pitched efficiently into the eighth inning, and the Mets got home runs from Jose Reyes and David Wright to top the Yankees 7-4 Saturday in the opener of a rain-shortened Subway Series. More... faba
It was a game they needed bad with the way things are going=Santana has been able to keep them in every game to give us a chance to win so far but far from dominant.

Yeah 4 runs in 7 odd innings is hardly dominant. I think one of the best games he pitched this year he took a loss because we didn't score any runs for him. Just like Pelfrey on Thursday nite. On the other hand wasn't Sosa like 4-1 to go with his 8+ ERA ?
