GimmeShelter
That is similiar to the Jeter SI article along with the other one by the blogger who researched his entire post season clutch AB's. No one wanted to give that much credence though. Incredible that ARod has been that bad pretty much his entire career in THOSE situations. His overall production more than makes up for it though. Mets are lucky this year in that while Wright has been bad in those type situations but Delgado (without looking up the stats) seems to come up with big hit after big hit since that 9 RBI game against the Yanks. The three teams that I have seen this year that are clutch late on a consistent basis are the Rays, RSox and Angels.
