haggis Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 You know what? I'm tired of all the invites to the multiple same old leagues on these messageboards. The same hardcore crew is always there. Why not capitalize on that?? What is stopping us from having our very own KEEPER AUCTION league? I'll tell you what. NOTHING! I say bag the multiple JN leagues and lets start a keeper league. I know it can be done. We just need 10 owners. We can do the draft via a chatroom. I think we even had some kind of multiuser phoneline for smacktalk in a Jets Insider league I did with some of you guys about 2 years ago. I'm willing to be the commish here, but I want SERIOUS owners. I see this as starting as an online draft and if it is successful enough then we can do an in-person draft if the geography and desire is right for everyone. A Jet Nation auction draft party! If anyone has ever done an auction draft then you know it is the only way to go and with so many same faces being around here then making it a keeper league just seems to make sense. Takers????
