faba
Brown new leader at RB By Mel Kiper Jr., Special to ESPN Insider The Combine has come and gone and results out of Indianapolis have done little to shuffle my rankings of the top five NFL prospects at each position. The top spot at running back, and the No. 1 position on my Big Board of the top 25 overall prospects, now belongs to Ronnie Brown of Auburn, but no other position had a change at the top of the list. California running back J.J. Arrington is back in the rankings after a strong showing at the Combine, while Alabama guard Evan Mathis, Bowling Green guard Scott Mruczkowski, Georgia defensive end David Pollack and Virginia Tech safety Vincent Fuller are all back in the mix as well. Three players make their debuts this week: Portland State tight end Tony Curtis, Northwestern defensive tackle Luis Castillo and Nebraska cornerback Fabian Washington. TomShane
Yeah, Frank. Terry is a stiff with some upside, but anyone who drafts him and decides to play him as a rookie will pay the price. As for the revised list, IMO, it's stupid. The changes are based solely on the combine whereas the previous listing was based on Mel and his people watching reel upon reel of game film. IMO, if a good 40 time drops a guy off the face of the earth, that's ridiculous. FI, if Ronnie Brown was THAT good, how come he could never beat Cadillac Williams out? TS Yes I have to laugh too at these revised latest rankings. I could put out FABA's rankings and blindly go by the combine numbers produced by prospects and totally ignore what happened on the football field too. Maybe I will do that and I can get a gig on ESPN like Kiper!
