2009 was a great year, one of the best years by an AL pitcher in recent history

but 2007 and 2008 were good as well

if one year wonder means "he's not good", no. He's still one of the better pitchers in the AL.

He's still good, even when he's obviously having a down year.

Regardless, his numbers will be better when the year ends. He's one of the best starters in baseball.

His ERA is under (barely) the averages for AL, NL and MLB. He is average this year.

He has had a few bad starts and like last year, he has had no support. He could easily have 6-8 wins if he played on a decent team.
