Can anyone make a graphic for the Bucs on Hard Knocks like the one that Integrity made for us last year when the Jets were on the show?

I am going all in on the Bucs making the show. Want to be ahead of the curve. Thanks! :D

The Jets were going to be chosen for Hard Knocks if not for the fact that HBO couldn't work around the child labor laws involving Sanchez's girlfriends. If only he was dating 16 year-old twins. How old are the Olsen Twins now. Anyone know?

Are the Olsen twins in their 30's yet? Scary to think about. Also they weigh as much combined as a normal person does. Should we still refer to them as twins?

And so it begins...

Arrest warrant issued for Bucs' Talib

Updated Mar 29, 2011 5:58 PM ET

GARLAND, Texas

Police in Garland, Texas, issued felony arrest warrants Tuesday for Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib and his mother in connection with a domestic incident in which a gun was fired, the Tampa Tribune reported.

According to the report, the 25-year-old Talib is expected to surrender later this week on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and his bail will be set at $25,000. His mother, Okolo Talib, reportedly turned herself in Tuesday afternoon.

According to police in the Dallas suburb, Talib was involved in a fight March 21 with his sister's partner, Shannon Billings, the Dallas Observer reported Monday.

The incident, according to police, stemmed from an argument at Talib's sister Saran's house between her and Billings. Saran Talib reportedly called her brother and mother for help during the alleged altercation.

Neighbors called 911 after hearing gunshots, and when police arrived they found Billings outside a residence in the area.

Billings was arrested in connection with two prior incidents involving Talib's sister. He told officers he had been shot at during the latest bust-up. Billings also alleged that Talib had tried to "strike him in the face" with a pistol.

Neither Talib, nor his agent Todd France have commented on the incident.

“We are deeply troubled by the serious charges filed against Aqib Talib. Due to current labor circumstances, we will withhold any further comment or action,” general manger Mark Dominik said late Tuesday afternoon.

NFL teams are prohibited from contacting their players during the lockout.

The 25-year-old, a Texas high school standout, has had several off-the-field incidents since Tampa Bay drafted him in the first round out of Kansas in 2008.

Following the draft, he was involved in a fight at the NFL's Rookie Symposium, and a year later got into a scuffle with a teammate at Bucs minicamp.

Talib, who started all 11 games that he played last season, was arrested in August 2009 in Florida for assaulting a cab driver. The incident drew a one-game suspension from the NFL, but the charge was dismissed after Talib agreed to perform 15 hours of community service and attend anger management classes.

Shocked the Jets didn't do it again. As a fan it is cool to watch. Although I am glad the team won't have the distraction again. I am not buying the line about the cameras being around made everyone play harder.

I think "distractions" in general are overrated. From everything the Jets players said throughout the season, none of the off-the-field bullsh** affected them too badly. Their 2nd straight appearance in the AFC Title game was clear evidence of that.

When you have such little time to process things and are simply focusing on your next practice, next film session, next game, there's no time to care if Braylon Edwards just got a DUI or Ines Sainz is complaining about harassment.....you'll lose your job if you don't focus.

When you play in NY and have the type of tumultuous season the Jets just had, its clear this team has the the keen ability to shut ANYTHING out other than the task at hand.

And it continues.....

per Rotoworld:

Bucs CB Aqib Talib surrendered to Texas police Wednesday morning on charges of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was released on $25,000 bond after two hours at the jail. Talib is in danger of a lengthy prison sentence in addition to league-imposed suspension once the lockout ceases. Commissioner Roger Goodell has made it clear that the league is logging all arrests as NFL players take on a "Wild Wild West" attitude with no Personal Conduct Policy currently in effect.
