About a dozen Steelers are playing members of the Gotham Rogues, who take on the equally fictious Rapid City Monuments in a new Batman movie that’s filming in Pittsburgh. Thousands of extras playing fans also have been recruited for Saturday’s shoot for "Dark Knight Rises" at Heinz Field. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that players getting their star turn include Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu and Casey Hampton. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that he was a big Batman fan growing up and he’s really excited to be part of the film.
