R44 Posted December 29, 2005 Share Posted December 29, 2005 Seems like a petty move to me......after this week, all practice squad players in the NFL are TOTAL free agents. So cutting him at mid week saves the team $2,000 (players on P.S's make 4K per week). Basically, every NFL team could cut their entire practice squads and save $32,000 this week. Let's face it, except for the playoff teams, are these players even needed to use in practices?
