In order to make room for Giacomini, the club waived WR Jeremy Butler. Giacomini, the Jets' starting right tackle for all 32 games the previous two seasons, was on the Reserve/PUP list for the first seven games of regular season with a back injury. The 6'7", 318-pound Giacomini, a Louisville product who has made 65 career starts and appeared in 73 contests, has practiced the last two weeks with the Green & White. Acquired off waivers from Tampa Bay on Oct. 11, the 6’2”, 213-pound Butler totaled 363 yards on 31 receptions last season with the Ravens. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
